Wild Rose Dairy, a CAFO near La Farge in Vernon County is applying to the DNR for a water quality permit for an EXPANSION of their operations (read more about it here). This CAFO has been responsible for TWO manure spills into a local creek in the last 3 years. The DNR is holding a virtual public hearing on Tuesday Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. According to the press release announcing the meeting, the DNR has "tentatively decided" to issue the permit.
